## What We Do

Presence is a small web engineering studio serving underserved small businesses. The industry overcharges and underserves them. We don't.

Three core service pillars:

- **Visibility** - SEO-first engineering so Google's crawlers don't get stuck in the mud. Optimized for AI search engines like ChatGPT and others.
- **Conversion** - High Lighthouse performance scores so customers don't leave before the page loads. We take it up a notch for Core Web Vitals.
- **Longevity** - Building with clean code, not brittle "drag-and-drop" plugins that break in six months or constantly get security vulnerabilities.

HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Astro, SolidJS, Cloudflare, Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, GitHub, GitLab, AWS, Sveltia CMS, WordPress, Google Search Console.

We are flexible with tech. Different businesses have different constraints, so we engineer with what's appropriate.

Presence was founded on April 23, 2026 by Anthony L. during a period of trying to make amends for the time he spent away from his girlfriend. The studio exists not just as a technical project, it was built to prove that consistent, honest work is possible. It is named after the act of being present: for clients, and for the people who matter.
